What I'm doing now?
Right now, I’m leading a team of web engineers in the marketing department, where we focus on building scalable, performant, and creative solutions for the web. It’s a balance between technical depth and delivering experiences that actually connect with people, which keeps things interesting.
Lately, I’ve been tinkering with Astro. Astro Islands? Super cool. There’s something really satisfying about how they help you keep things lean and focused, and the performance benefits feel like a natural fit for the direction I’m heading. On top of that, I’ve been digging deeper into web performance and exploring the world of headless CMS. There’s so much potential in how these tools can empower teams to move faster and create better user experiences.
I’ve also been thinking a lot about tech that lasts. The Lindy Effect has me doubling down on foundational technologies—HTML, which has been around since 1993; JavaScript, which joined the party in 1995; and CSS, not far behind in 1996. These have stuck with us through decades of change and continue to be the backbone of everything we build.
I’m focusing on a tech stack that embraces that resilience while layering in innovation where it makes sense.
